The evolution of the epidemiological situation in Portugal and in the European Union shows an upward trajectory, with the Government having decreed a state of calamity as of December 1st. Additionally, the concern with the new variant of COVID 19 requires greater precautions in the entry of people into the country. In this context, and for prudence’s sake, the PNAID 2021 MEETINGS are postponed to a date to be announced in due course.

The PNAID Meetings, which give continuity to the Meetings of Diaspora Investors, are a joint initiative of the Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities and the Secretary of State for Development of the Interior.

In 2021, the PNAID Meetings were scheduled for December 9th to 11th, co-organized by the Municipality of Ourém and the Intermunicipal Community of Médio Tejo, in partnership with the Commission for Coordination and Regional Development of the Centre. They are now postponed to 2022.

The National Programme to Support Investment in the Diaspora (PNAID) is an initiative to value Portuguese communities that promotes investment in the diaspora, especially in the interior of the country, as well as the exports and internationalization of national companies through the diaspora.
